Homemade Pizza with Sundried Tomato Pizza Crust
Tonight's dinner was pizza! Half of the pizza was Hawaiian for Zachary and the other half was a combination of pepperoni, turkey bacon, mushrooms and olives. I have found a wonderful foccocia recipe that add sun dried tomatoes to for the crust. It is delicious. It is made even easier by the fact that I make the dough in the bread maker!
Sun Dried Tomato Foccocia
1 T. Olive oil
1 T. Kosher Salt
1 T. Honey
2 cups Warm Water
5 cups Flour (Half all purpose; Half Whole Wheat)
1 T. Active Dry Yeast
Add all ingredients into the bread pan in the order listed. Set for the dough cycle.
This recipe will make 2 pizzas. I generally cut the dough in half and freeze one for a pizza later on. Bake pizza with toppings in a 375 degree oven for 25-35 minutes. Crust should be lightly brown on bottom and on the crust.
Enjoy!
